Overhead fans in living room and bedroom. No air-conditioner in bedroom, but it has cross breeze with windows east and west. The rest of the loft is air-conditioned. Two dresser drawers are available for clothes and open closet area for hanging clothes. Telephone use is included for domestic long-distance, but no international long-distance.

 

The loft is conveniently located for shopping, theaters, and sightseeing. Chelsea, Flatiron, Gramery Park and Midtown area are a short stroll away as are Macy's, Times Square and famous Fifth Avenue. Most major transportation is also within a few short blocks.

 

Due to precious articles in the apartment, children between the ages of 14 months to 6 years old are not permitted.

The owner prefers to accommodate two adults and will consider two additional guests.  Under certain circumstances a child will also be permitted.  As this is his home, he also requests that only guests committed to maintaining quietness in the apartment inquire. 

 

This is a parlor floor apartment, which means that it is one flight of stairs on the exterior of the building to the building's entrance. Then the apartment is on that floor.  The main living room, bedroom, kitchen and bath are on that level and the sleeping loft with the additional beds is up a small staircase within the apartment.
