The loft was spacious and well equipped with huge picture windows that let the sun stream in and give you a wonderful view of the beautiful, now converted into appartments, old building opposite. The location is superb-we walked everywhere and felt very safe. Charles and his team were there to meet us, made us very welcome and clear instructions were given. We have had our deposit returned promptly and will definitely be using this company again for our accomodation. November, 2008, D.W. I am the Director for a Not for Profit and have meetings in NYC from time to time. Being able to rent an apartment, over a hotel room has saved us a few thousand dollars this year alone. The units I have stayed in are always clean, and convenient to my desired location. It is clear that AtHomeUs is providng a great service. As a consumer, I think you will have to be flexible with unit configuration, as some are studios, one, two and even three bedrooms. They are not hotel rooms and the renter should not assume they will be. They are homes, in great neighborhoods and are offered at great rates! Rent with confidence! MB, Myrtle Beach, S.C., October 2008 (about unit 100) | I found out about Charles and AtHomeUS three years ago via Craigslist when I was heading to Egypt and needed a place to stay in NYC before I made my way to Egypt. As a first time traveler to NYC and being on my own with no fellow travelers along for the ride, I was looking for clean, safe and reasonably priced. AtHomeUS Vacation Rentals met all three of those criteria. I was expecting to stay in an apartment near the Empire State building but because of last moment repairs (which Charles notified me of promptly!) ended up staying in a beautiful hosted apartment in SOHO. As it was hosted, Charles was there during my stay there and I found him not only to be extremely friendly and but also very informative to me, because as I said, this was my first time to NYC. When it was time to go back to NYC two years ago for the US Open, my husband and I immediately went back to Charles who recommended a wonderful little apartment in Chelsea for us. Again, clean, safe and reasonably priced. And this year for the Open, again we went to Charles and we ended up staying in the Village. Again, clean, safe and reasonably priced, nothing less than we would have expected from Charles and his vacation rentals. I really love the fact that by using Charles and his various rentals, we don't end up in an over priced hotel and get to really experience the different parts of NYC. Can't wait to see where we end up the next time we make our way there. P.S. Charles always recommends really good restaurants too!!
